- New improved interface that works well on any sized monitor.
- It is now fully compatible with Windows Vista.

- All reports are now viewed and printed from within Handyman Assistant. No more external PDF program.
- New email engine that is faster and more reliable.
- You can now have Handyman Assistant automatically open you data file when it opens.
- The estimate agreement text can now be formatted with different fonts and colors.
- New spellchecker added to the letter writer and to anywhere you can enter formatted text.
- New record scroll buttons have been added to the Customer, Estimate, and Invoice edit screens. This means that you can move through your records without closing the edit screen and going back to the list screen.
- New Save & New buttons have been added to the Customer, Estimate, and Invoice edit screens. This lets you quickly add new records with having to go back to the list screen.
- You can now setup a message that will be printed on invoices and/or estimates. The message can be any length and can be formatted. You can also include merge fields which allows you to personalize the message.
- There is a new data maintenance feature that lets you delete old data from your file.
- If you insert subtotals in an invoice, estimate or contract, the subtotal values are displayed on the screen and not just when you print.
- You can now search for invoices by invoice number.
- You can easily save invoices and reports etc. as PDF files or image files.
Existing users can import there version 1 data easily.
